During The European Spatial Sound Exchange program my role as a Tonmeister, sound designer and sound mixer was to assess the spatial and acoustical characteristics of selected venues and create the best sounding experience for their sound systems. ESSE is a pilot project initiated by Monom, as part of musicAIRE, and co-funded by the European Union. Its aim is to foster dialogue among European spatial sound venues to explore how spatial sound works by musicians can be shared across European venues equipped with spatial sound capabilities.
